learn about our retreats

We’re a safe landing place for people exploring psychedelics for the first time–or for the first time in a non-recreational setting.

Seekers. Self-Healers. Pattern Breakers.

We work with people who have a nagging sense that there is a deeper layer of life to be experienced

We’re “people-people” who genuinely want to know you at your core.

In short, we truly care about the people we work with. Our essence is warm and welcoming and our style is relationship-centric, meaning we place a high value on the relationship between journeyer and guide.

We’re not just here to provide an experience, we authentically want to know you–and for you to know us.

With many facilitators out there, why choose us?

Not only do we welcome first-time participants, we think this is one of the best and safest places to start. Rest assured that you don’t yet need to know what you are doing or how to journey well–that’s why you have us as guides.

Many people ask us if this is the right place for a first-time experience with psychedelics.

We are admittedly not shamans or gurus, nor are we here to provide new frameworks for living your life. Instead, our priority is to honor the spiritual wisdom that already lives inside you.

While we have a deep respect for indigenous practices and the spiritual nature of psychedelic medicines we don’t want you to feel pressured into ceremonies or rituals that are not in line with your worldview or values. We think of the space we create as a blank canvas where you can bring–or develop–your own connection to the sacred.

It can be comforting to know that you won’t be expected to blindly subscribe to any specific spiritual practices during a retreat.

The first is that there are no more than three guests per guide, ensuring that each person is safely and expertly attended to. Secondly, the smaller size allows ample time for each person to share during our group circles.

Unlike larger retreat centers, where group sizes might reach 15-25 people, our maximum is 9 guests. Additionally, when you sign up for one of our retreats you know exactly who your lead guides will be (Clare, Nick, and Nadia). This allows for us to personalize the retreat experience–an offering that is truly an expression of our soul. If a typical retreat is the continental breakfast at a highrise hotel, we are the homemade chocolate chip cookie at a rural Bed and Breakfast.

We have intentionally chosen to keep our groups intimate for two reasons.

With so many healing modalities out there we have chosen to prioritize a more minimalist approach that focuses on three things: 1. The psychedelic journeys 2. A group process to reflect and integrate and 3. Unstructured time. While additional offerings like yoga, breathwork, excursions and workshops can certainly be supportive, it sometimes feels a bit like drinking from a firehose with so much programming on offer! We’ve found that the moments of unstructured retreat time creates a space for your instincts and creativity to flourish. Some folks might be drawn to hiking and relaxed socialization or art while others may need solo quiet time with a journal or a restorative nap.

We jokingly wanted to subtitle our homepage “Retreats That Don’t Suck!” Both Clare and Nick have been facilitating luxury group travel experiences since 2001 and care deeply about each detail being thoughtfully curated from start to finish. Inspiring natural beauty, retreat center aesthetics and high quality food are important to us. You can show up with confidence that all the little things will be taken care of, allowing more room for you to fully lean into whatever you are here to experience.

This is not just any retreat.

Each guest will have a chance to meet us during the application process and the group will meet together online before the retreat. Detailed preparation information will be sent to you via email. Not only do we spend ample time integrating your journey experience during the retreat, we’ll also meet together for two online integration sessions after the retreat.

We offer comprehensive, pre-journey preparation and post-journey integration to support you through every phase of your trip from takeoff, to cruising altitude, to landing.

The journey after the journey lasts a lifetime. We will host two post-retreat integration sessions as a group and offer suggestions for how to water the seeds that sprouted during your experience.

6. Begin the (life-long) path of integration:

Press pause on the rest of your life and allow us to artfully support your unique journey as it's meant to unfold.

5. Attend the retreat:

The journey begins! We will send you a document with detailed information for how to prepare. We will also host a pre-retreat video call where you will meet your guides and get to know the other members of your group.

4. Start Preparing:

After reviewing your application, we’ll collect payment and your spot on the retreat will be secured.

3. Make it official:

This essential information helps us get to know you better and ensure your safety.

2. Submit an application and health form:

Read the website, listen to us on a podcast, or schedule a call to see if we feel like an intuitive fit.

1. Get to know us:

Here’s an outline of the Same Summit journey:

our core philosophy and why we started same summit

Apply for a retreat

We envisioned a space for psychedelic exploration that felt welcoming, joyful and grounded. We wanted a retreat that felt spiritually inclusive–allowing space for varying belief systems. We believe in an approach that emphasizes the spiritual power of heart-centered human connection more than unfamiliar ceremonial practices where people can sometimes feel out of place.

Ultimately, we created Same Summit in response to our own hearts’ longing to have a place to slow down. A place to expand. A place to remember who we really are.

We love nothing more than to see you fall in love again–first with the fullness of your being–and then with life itself.
If our offering feels like an intuitive fit, we hope to meet you soon!

As the saying goes, “Many paths, same summit.”

That there is no singular pathway to a fulfilling life. While we are big believers in the power of psychedelic medicines to create more depth and meaning in our lives, we humbly acknowledge that they are not the only way!

The name Same Summit was born from our core philosophy:

There aren’t words that can do the experience justice, and your decision to do this work won’t come from your logical mind, it will come from your heart.

"If any part of you feels a pull to this retreat, GO."

I loved the balance you bring to your retreats. I can't thank you enough for what I still consider the most impactful experience of my life.

"joy, thoughtfulness, laughter, depth, love, curiosity."

You all managed to create this incredible environment where I felt safe and able to be heard and cared for. You struck a nice balance in how you used rituals to set the tone at each step of the process—they felt meaningful and relevant without being contrived or distracting.

"It is hard to put into words."

I can’t believe how much time I wasted barely making progress when this was possible.

"It’s ten years of therapy in six hours."

Knowing I was in the hands of supportive and experienced guides made all the difference.

"From the very first call, the warmth and professionalism of the team made me feel welcomed and at ease."

The care, support, understanding and compassion you all have in abundance make you masters of your art.

"I am in awe of Clare, Nick and Nadia’s instincts for being right there when I needed them."

I also appreciated the playfulness that you brought, and for sharing meals with us. It was a very egalitarian environment. Truly well done!

"Your professionalism, knowledge and ongoing dedication to build upon what you already know is inspiring."

I am a rather insular person so I was concerned about how much I would be able to share in a group environment and whether I would feel comfortable enough expressing my feelings. I think that hearing others share their thoughts and challenges made it easier for me to do the same.

"it was far easier to share my experiences with the group than I had imagined."

It had the opposite effect. Because no one in the group knew me from past experience, or had preconceived notions about me, I was able to show up as the true version of myself in each moment without sugar coating or trying to be someone else.

"Before the retreat I thought being with strangers would make me more closed off or afraid to open up."

Thank you so much! You created the most magical, healing, safe environment for us. I’m struggling to offer any constructive feedback because I loved everything. The food was incredible, the retreat site was lovely and the surrounding nature was a critical part of the experience.

"Words really don't do any justice to how much gratitude and awe I have for you three."

To slow down, to feel connected to the entire universe is quite an experience in and of itself, let alone getting to do it with some of the people I now hold most dear. Where in life as an adult can you show up as strangers and four days later leave with new life long friends?

"As a busy mom of three young kids I cannot stress how transformative & life affirming this retreat was."
